Notes from the coach:
Practice Time!
Practices will now be held on Tuesdays
and Thursdays from 4:30PM-6:00PM at Oak beginning on January 5, 2009.
Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.....
* We will have practice tomorrow (Tuesday) at OAK starting at 4:00PM to 5:30PM.
Bring plenty of water and dress our players warm.
* We will also have Practice this Saturday starting at 11:30AM to 1:00PM
Our Game is this Sunday January 3rd and we will start at 1:45PM and we are playing against the Cal Bears.
* We will meet at 1:00PM at BB courts at LAHS.
Make sure our players are on time.

Practice Today- Tuesday, Dec 22, 2009 4:30PM
Good morning everyone.......(Monday, November 16, 2009)
We will have practice this Wednesday at Oak Middle School starting at 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
Please make sure you attend this practice, as of yet, we still have not had a complete team practice.
We have been working on plays and strategies and our players are doing a great job!
It will be very difficult to teach our players at game time what to do.

Scrimmage time!
Hi everyone....
I just received the schedule for Sunday November 22nd for our full dress scrimmage games at LAHS (Los Alamitos High School) gym.
These scrimmages are not optional, so we must be there otherwise we will impact the teams which we are playing against.
We will be playing 2 periods of 8 minutes each with a running clock and no time outs. So the games will be quick!
We are scheduled to play at 12:20pm against the Aggies and at 12:40pm against the Matadors.
We will have warm ups starting at 11:30am at the basketball courts outside north of the gym at the LAHS.
Make sure that everyone is on time for the practice.
Practice time this Sunday the 15th at Oak!

Good morning everyone......
He are some key dates to remember:
11-8 Skills Clinic at LAHS 1st - 4th Grade 2 - 4 PM Cost is $30...
11-19 Uniform Pick up
11-22 Pre-Season Scrimmages - Game times TBD
12-6 Games Begin (No Games 12/20 and 12/27)
12-13 Team Pictures - Schedule TBD
2/28 and 3/7 Playoffs
Just a reminder we will have practice this Wednesday 11-4 at OAK Middle
School (Basketball courts) starting at 4:30PM - 6:15PM.
We will also a have practice Sunday at 9AM - 11AM at Oak Middle School.
Make sure our basketball players bring their own ball (27.5).
For anyone that is unable to attend Wednesday's practice due to FNL or
Soccer practices no worries, we can all meet Sunday morning.
Just let me know if you are not able to attend....

Hi everyone!
Your son has been selected to play for the Oregon State Beavers (PAC
10).
My name is Jerry Trama and I will be managing the team.
If there are any other volunteers who would like to help you are more
than welcome to join me work with the kids!
This is our team:
4th Grade -Blake Michaelsen, Jordon Ripoll
3rd Grade -Jerrid Trama, Dylan Somoza, Christian Allen, Max Berg, Jaden
Booher, Joshua Jackson
Practice Schedules
We will be practicing twice a week!
Temporary Schedule : Plan on Wednesday and Saturday or Sunday mornings
for now.
(Saturday or Sunday practice will be temporary through mid December).
I am planning to have Practice on Tuesdays and Fridays after December!
We will most likely be practicing at Oak Middle School.
Plan on a practice next Wednesday starting at 4:30pm - 6:00pm at Oak
Middle School (basketball courts). I will send a reminder!
The reason for the crazy practice schedule is because I am also coaching
FNL which will end by mid December.
Our practice days may vary a bit during this time frame.
I will try to be as consistent as possible during this time.
Anyone else playing FNL?
Parent Meeting
We can have our first Parent meeting on our first practice. It will give
us a chance to all meet and answer questions that anyone might have.
Parent Help
Shara Somoza has volunteered to be our Team Mom! Thank you Shara!
I will have more information by our first meeting as to what other help
will be needed!
Please reply to this e-mail and let me know the following:
1. Confirm these are the best e-mail addresses to use for team
announcements. Also let me know if you would like other e-mail addresses
added to the distribution list.
2. Let me know if there are any issues I should be aware of
(medical conditions, scheduling conflicts, etc.)
3. Review the attached document for any corrections that might be
needed.
I will send out an e-mail to remind everyone about the meeting and
practice schedules.
